About Us

Elizabeth H. Smith has been a practicing attorney since 1977. A former assistant prosecutor, she is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Criminal Trial Attorney. She is licensed to practice in Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, and the federal courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States. Her office, conveniently located in Mendham, Morris County, New Jersey, offers a full range of legal services specializing in divorce and family law, criminal trials and appeals, including juvenile and municipal court matters, real estate, wills and estate litigation.

Ms. Smith is active in community and bar related activities, serving as a trustee of the Morris County Bar Foundation and a member of the Professionalism Committee, as well as the Central Jersey Family Law Inn of Court. She is a former member of the District X Ethics Committee, and presently serves on the District X Fee Arbitration Committee. She is active in the Family Law Sections of the County and State Bar Associations and serves as a panelist for the Early Settlement Program in Morris County.  She is a trained mediator and collaborative attorney.
